How to Source on Overlooked Social Networks including AirBnB, Amazon, eBay, YouTube, and Instagram
Brian Fink, Talent Acquisition Lead, Relus
Every recruiter has a playbook, pipeline, and strategy whether it’s online or not for sourcing candidates for the typical or “mostly” requested roles within their organization. But what about the roles that are notoriously hard to fill? Candidates that must have particularly elusive skills, be in a certain location, or may just be in very high demand? Finding these people requires certain out-of-the-box thinking and recruiting skills that need to be honed and developed.
In this session, we will share the methodologies he uses to acquire leads for his potential elusive talent including: Using social sites that aren’t “social” like dating sites and what information he can glean from them, finding people based on their personal interests and locations and filtering them to professional needs (think amazon.com recommendations), and obtaining contact information in ways you’ve never thought of before.
