Project Facilitator Organizational Development & Leadership Training, University of South Florida
Tim has served as Assistant Director Organizational Development and Training for the University of South Florida. He currently serves as Project Facilitator and coach at MUMA College of Business and the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. His past roles include Manager of Training & Development, US Region of the container shipping company, CP SHIPS, Tampa, Florida. He served as an executive coach and organizational consultant to the City of Hope: an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, in Duarte, CA, Director of Organization Development and Training for Seven Counties Central State Hospital, and Director of Training & Development for Humana Inc.
As Director of Organization Development and Training for the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Tim was responsible for leadership and staff development, continuous improvement activities, process improvement training and department surveys. He authored The New Supervisor’s Handbook, and developed a Learning & Development Curriculum for the Moffitt Clinic.
As Director of Education for Columbia/HCA Healthcare he assisted with organization and department transition from Humana to Galen Healthcare, to Columbia, and to Columbia/HCA.
He joined Humana as a Senior Analyst in the education department in November of 1981. Tim developed and conducted numerous leadership and team building sessions for the hospitals and corporate office. He was responsible for developing the customer service program titled Humana Care. His accomplishments include the installation of the Humana Business Television Network and the production of programs for training and communication throughout the organization.
His degrees include a BA in Philosophy and a Masters in Divinity, with graduate work in Communications and Group Process.
He facilitated the Franklin/Covey Great Leaders Program for Tampa General Hospital.
He is certified in the presentation and distribution of Wiley Publishing Co. Wiley has developed learning instruments and processes that serve as a catalyst for positive change in individuals and organizations.
