After spending most of her childhood in San Antonio, Texas, Whitney (and her twin sister) received a soccer and academic scholarship to Louisiana Tech University. There, she studied Communication Design and Marketing. After graduation, Whitney transitioned from her internship role to full-time, working for one of the largest multi-disciplined project management and engineering service firms in Louisiana. She moved to the Houston area in 2015 to join Shepley Bulfinch, a firm who has led design innovation for nearly 150 years and one of the most reputable architectural firms in the country.
With over 6 years of marketing and relationship-driven, executive-level marketing and business development experience, Whitney’s talent lies in creating authentic and effective networks, inspiring teams, and guiding individuals to achieve both personal growth and professional success. She has a diverse background in marketing, communications, and business development and has experience working with a variety of personnel levels. Her greatest strengths are in her creativity, drive, and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach.
Whitney is one of the American Petroleum Institute – Young Professionals (API-YP) cofounders and leads the Events Committee for the YP group. She joined the Board of Directors for the API Houston chapter November 2016 and is a member of the Society of Marketing Professionals Houston Chapter, Rice Design Alliance, and is involved with other professional organizations around the Houston area.
