Ashley Wrencher is a 10-year HR professional with specialized experience in high volume and corporate recruiting, corporate compensation administration, and corporate communication in Fortune 500 companies. She is a Montgomery, AL native who has called Birmingham her home for the last 18 years, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Human Resources.
Ashley began teaching 16 years ago by tutoring high school students striving to pass the Alabama High School graduation (Math) exam. A few years later, she taught hundreds of UAB students in the Department of Biology, Human Cadaver Lab. Over the last 6 years, Ashley has taught professional/ leadership development and public speaking workshops at regional conferences and business meetings. In her spare time, she volunteers by teaching public speaking, financial literacy, career preparation, and resume writing sessions to students through the Birmingham Education Foundation (BirminghamED) and Junior Achievement organizations.
Ashley is also long-time member of Toastmasters International, where she has delivered over 100 speeches, served as a communication coach, regional advisor, and leadership trainer. Ashley is now in the top 1% of Toastmasters worldwide, for achieving its highest education distinction, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). This March, Ashley Wrencher was selected as a speaker for 2018 TedxBirmingham Conference. Her YouTube video generated over 2000 views within a week, via Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
