System Director Talent Acquisition Strategy and Organizational Development, Houston Methodist
Thomas has been with Houston Methodist since May 2015. His responsibility includes creation of the talent acquisition strategy for the enterprise as well as leader of Organizational and Leadership Development.
Previously, Thomas was with Cleveland Clinic for 25 years in a variety of roles. As Senior Director for International Patient Experience he consulted with organizations around the world to help them learn, implement and sustain the Patient Experience best practices of Cleveland Clinic.
Thomas has previously held leadership roles in the areas of Clinical Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development and Learning Technology. He was co-leader of the well documented Cleveland Clinic Experience cultural transformation initiative that was developed and deployed at Cleveland Clinic.
Thomas holds a Master’s of Education in Global Human Resource Education from the University of Illinois and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Cleveland State University. He is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance by the Association for Talent Development and has presented domestically and internationally on multiple topics including: cultural transformation, performance management, performance consulting, succession planning, employee engagement and learning technology.
