Aligning Workforce, Talent, Leadership, and Culture to achieve Healthcare Strategic Outcomes
Scott Dimmick, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Lakeland Regional Health
All Health Systems are under pressure to achieve results, and a Health Systems ability to achieve their strategy and goals is contingent upon the proper utilization and optimization of its scarcest resource, talent. This is only possible through the creation of a high performance organization design, which effectively integrates the work, the worker, and the work system into an overall plan. We have entered an “era of talent”, and are functioning within a talent economy, where a firm’s talent and organizational practices have become a primary source of sustainable competitive advantage. This presentation will review an innovative management model that fosters the integration of workforce management, talent strategy, transformational leadership, and organization culture, and which aligns specifically to drive the business strategy and goals. The presenter will provide a roadmap and blueprint for establishing a high performance organization design.
