Building Our Pipeline While Addressing Talent Needs - A University Relations Model
Rhonda Holler, Vice President Talent Management, LabCorp
What began as a typical approach to sourcing talent evolved into a business critical resource for identifying future talent, developing leadership capabilities, and designing innovative solutions. Initially the University Relations team sat within a recruiting function within Labcorp and served the business when called, providing interns like many other internship functions. But with the goal of preparing the talent for the business needs of today and tomorrow, the function leveraged their expertise to make substantial, value-added changes and ultimately delivered top talent to the organization. During this session learn how LabCorp’s University Relations team
· Shaped internship solutions that provided top talent to the organization;
· Build a university ambassador model that also developed the leaders; and
· Designed a strong internship program while delivering innovative solutions to the organization.
