AVP of Line of Business Recruiting & National Sourcing Strategy, HCA Healthcare
Jason Pistulka serves as AVP of Talent Acquisition for HCA for the national marketing and sourcing team as well as the recruiting teams for the corporate and lines of business functions at HCA including Physician Services Group, Ambulatory Surgical Centers, Sarah Cannon Cancer Research and IT&S. Our team is centralized in Nashville with approximately 75 resources. Jason joined HCA in late 2014.
Prior to HCA Jason served as the Director of Corporate recruiting at Asurion where he was responsible for the talent needs of corporate IT, HR, finance, legal and underwriting functions across North America. In addition, Jason lead the corporate college recruiting function for Asurion. Asurion is a global leader in consumer electronics protection with over 14,000 employees and is headquartered in Nashville Tennessee.
Before moving into recruiting leadership Jason works in the Human Resources Business Partner space at Asurion, in Nashville,TN, CUNA Mutual in Madison, WI, Microsoft in Fargo, ND and Stora Enso in Stamford, CT.
After MBA school to Jason worked as a Consultant with Williams and Company Consulting in Sioux City, IA providing financial modeling and strategic management consulting to broadband and telephony startups as well as HR and executive search consulting for various industries.
Jason earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Mount Mary College and a MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He also holds a Certificate in Labor Relations for Cornell University. Jason has worked as an adjunct professor at five different colleges and universities teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in economics and human resources. Jason has been a guest speaker at the University of Notre Dame business school, the University of Wisconsin, Madison business school, several different SHRM chapters, and has been a reoccurring speaker at various recruiting conferences.
