Joe is the Vice President, Global Talent Management for Stryker, responsible for leading the enterprise talent strategy – attracting, developing, retaining, and aligning Stryker’s 26,000 employees globally. Prior to Stryker, Joe held leadership roles in fortune 500 and talent management consulting firms. Most recently, Joe was the Senior Director, Global Talent Management for the Medical Device and Diagnostic Sector at Johnson & Johnson. In this role, he led global succession planning and talent slating, and managed a team of regional directors in the deployment of an integrated talent management strategy for 60,000 employees. Joe’s other roles during his tenure at J&J included supporting talent management for their field sales organization and leading global human resources for their Ethicon Energy company. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Joe served as the Global Vice President of Learning and Development for Herrmann International and as the Learning Design, Development and Delivery Leader for Cintas. Joe graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior and completed an expedition to Mt. Everest in Nepal, climbing to 18,500 feet. Joe and his wife, Becky, and their children, Nicholas, Mia and Anna reside in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
