Senior Vice President Leadership & Team Intelligence, Cisco Systems
Ashley Goodall is the Senior Vice President of Leadership and Team Intelligence at Cisco. In this role, he built a new organization focused entirely on serving teams and team leaders—an organization that combines talent management, people planning, org design, succession, coaching, assessment, executive talent, research and analytics, and technology to support leaders and their teams in real time.
Cisco has removed performance ratings and Ashley is leading the implementation of a new performance management approach that will be the company’s foundation for team effectiveness.
At Deloitte, Ashley was responsible for all of Deloitte’s Leader Development and Performance Management Redesign efforts in the US. He was with Deloitte for fourteen years and held a number of roles in both Human Capital consulting and in the firm’s internal Talent function.
He collaborated with Michael Feiner on his book, “The Feiner Points of Leadership” (Warner Business, 2006), and is the co-author, with Marcus Buckingham, of “Reinventing Performance Management”, the cover story in the April 2015 edition of the Harvard Business Review. Ashley holds a BA in Music from University College, Oxford, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
