Track A: Build It And They Will Come … Or Not – Driving LMS User Adoption
Learning Management Systems support the Learning & Development functions to be successful in a global environment. It is getting easier to build content and make it available in an instant.
The challenge still lies in user adoption, engaging the learner, making it easy for learners to navigate the LMS, finding the right learning when needed, and sharing learning with each other.
This session will focus on how you can enable learners to take ownership of their own development, guide them by creating learning paths, and provide just-in-time learning.
· Identify components a great LMS should have
· Implement strategies to engage learners and take advantage of the resources in the LMS
· List the steps to create a structured learning path to guide learning

A special consortium had been assembled called Tappan Zee Constructors, LLC, specifically for the pursuit of this project, consisting of Fluor Corporation, Granite Construction, American Bridge and Traylor Brothers, each bringing their company’s experience to bear for this iconic bridge.
