Gene is a consultant, facilitator, coach, and business professional. Renowned for being thought-provoking and encouraging others to think outside the box, his leadership and expertise have earned him a successful business career with experience in HR management, change management, and organizational development. Gene has volunteered his leadership and business management knowledge to several boards and not-for-profit organizations helping them to strategize and implement strategic plans. Gene is a recipient of the HRPA’s Ross A. Hennigar Memorial Award and has contributed to CIBC’s accolades as a Best Diversity Employer, Best Employer for New Canadians, and a Great Place to Work. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McMaster University, a bachelor’s degree in adult education from Brock University, and a certificate in human resource management from George Brown College; he is also a Project Management Professional and a Certified Human Resources Leader.
