Most of the leading, successful organizations within the industry have made this a focus, not just because of the Dodd-Frank diversity mandates, but because the latest research suggests that increasing women’s leadership roles within organizations in inclusive environments

Joseph (Joe) Santana is a strategic diversity and inclusion consultant and coach who is President of Joseph Santana, LLC a consultancy that focuses on helping organizations secure larger returns on investment from their diversity and inclusion assets. During the course of his career as a corporate executive and principal consultant, Joe’s worked with some of the most highly respected organizations in the world including Accenture, Arup, BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Siemens, United Technologies and AARP.

Joe’s philosophy and approach to diversity and inclusion consulting and coaching is heavily influenced by a fusion of business and organizational development competencies borne out of his personal experiences as the former leader of a profitable 300 employee consulting and outsourcing division and the former head of a Training and Organizational Development function that supported a company with 5,000 engineers serving Fortune 500 clients.

In a parallel career, Joe’s also been a thought-leading author whose articles have appeared in leading industry magazines such as Diversity Executive and Insight Into Diversity and a media commentator whose ideas have appeared in numerous well known business periodicals as well as books, including the best seller by Thomas Friedman, "The World is Flat.”
